The Beckman Optima™ XL-90 Ultracentrifuge is a high performance solution designed to perform 100,000 rpm with centrifugation forces that reach up to 802,400 g. This Beckman centrifuge is built with a microprocessor-controlled design that enables storage of as many as nine user programs. One of the system attributes, the ESP™ Efficient Sedimentation Program stimulates gradient formation and sample separations with a wide range of rotors to choose from.
With the Optima™ XL-90, a single push of a button is all it takes to store and recall user-customized programs. Delay start can be programmed for convenient finishing time. User setup employs automatic preheating, precooling, vacuum, and dry cycle. Moreover, acceleration/deceleration profiles allow immediate customization of operating conditions. Diagnostic display also helps users monitor run conditions.
Other features of the Beckman Optima™ XL-90 centrifuge include dual display of “Set” and “Actual” run parameters, a circuit breaker, a touch key control panel, and a built-in printer on top of display housing.
