Sales Development Representative

Overview
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support our sales team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including outbound calls, inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, individual research and setting up targeted email campaigns. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential. Success in this role could lead to a sales position at GMI. This role reports to the National Sales Manager.
Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the GMI solutions within the target market.
  • Work with our veteran sales team to develop targeted telesales and email campaigns within their territories.
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in our CRM platform, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
  • Work with our marketing team to improve traffic and lead generation from our website.
  • Gain knowledge related to the products and services GMI offers
  • Establish a working knowledge of GMI’s instrumentation offering to develop into a Laboratory Instrumentation Sales Consultant.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Science or related field
  • 0-3 year’s telemarketing and/or inside sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas.
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Experience
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite or another CRM Software preferred.

Digital Marketing Internship

(GMI, INC — Ramsey, MN) Join GMI’s Internship Program as a Digital Marketing Intern. Gain hands-on experience in your focus area of study. This Internship Program allows undergraduate students an opportunity to gain experience and develop skills through challenging work assignments that truly add value to the business. Position Overview The Digital Marketing Intern will provide professional experience in a broad range of digital marketing projects to build brand awareness and drive lead generation on our web site. The role is instrumental in driving and increasing traffic to the company’s websites, recommending and implementing changes to improve the visitor experience, conduct thorough testing while ensuring brand consistency and positive brand image. Responsibilities
  • Create, edit and publish web & email marketing content
  • Troubleshoot and solve web issues such as broken links, page layouts, cross-linking, and visual design
  • Work with current content management systems to create, post, maintain, customize and enhance web content
  • Work collaboratively with marketing communication colleagues on product launches and lead gen activities that are promoted on our sites
  • Produce and/or coordinate production of a variety of web project deliverables which may include website enhancements and redesigns, technology implementation, forms, videos, editing multimedia, etc.
  • Create digital lead gen campaigns which may include landing pages and online advertising
  • Implement SEO best practices to drive increased traffic to websites
  • Work with outside agencies including ad agencies, digital agencies, SEO/PPC agencies, etc.
Basic Qualifications
  • Competency with Photoshop and/or DreamWeaver
  • Completed at least 1 years of a Bachelor’s Program in Marketing or Information Technology by June 2019
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

In-House Service Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
GMI is seeking an experienced Laboratory Instrumentation Service Engineer to help grow our production and service business. His/Her primary focus will be to install, maintain, repair and enhance a wide variety of laboratory instrumentation and equipment to GMI’s quality standards. This person will schedule and perform regular maintenance and calibration, troubleshoot, test and repair instruments. He/She will also determine when to work with external service providers for the more complex repairs and calibrations. Our Service Engineers have been critical in building GMI’s reputation as an industry leader in laboratory instrumentation quality. Ideal candidate would work out of our GMI HQ in Ramsey, MN. However, we also have openings in (Texas, South Carolina, California, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, and Denver).
