Product Description

The Beckman Allegra X-12 Series Benchtop Centrifuge is designed to streamline clearing debris, isolating mononuclear cells, pelleting mammalian cells, and other general separations. The Beckman centrifuge completes runs even with imbalance using the ARIES Smart Balance Rotor, automatically identifying and correcting imbalances up to +/-50 grams. Moreover, this centrifuge series features a numerical keypad for easy and quick value entry and up to 10 minutes temperature control after the rotor has stopped for walk-away flexibility.

To optimize the workflow, the Allegra X-12 units carry up to 10 user-defined programs, a brushless induction drive, 10 independent acceleration profiles and 11 independent deceleration profiles. Additionally, the system has the ability to toggle between display modes, automatic rotor identification, time options (set, hold, or pulse), as well as setting by rpm and RCF and an audible end-of-run tone.

This Beckman Allegra centrifuge is available in both refrigerated and constant controlled temperature models. As the refrigerated version, the Beckman Allegra X-12R centrifuge allows a selection of temperature within the range of –10 to 40°C and uses CFC-free refrigerant. The Allegra X-12 system, on the other hand is preset at 20°C and offers automatic temperature control within 18°C to 22°C.
