The Perkin Elmer Chemagic 360 is a high-throughput, automated nucleic acid extraction system designed for medium- to large-scale molecular biology workflows. Utilizing M-PVA magnetic bead technology and innovative transiently magnetized rod heads, it delivers high-yield, ultrapure nucleic acids from a wide variety of sample types—including blood, saliva, serum/plasma, bacteria, and viruses—while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.

Capable of processing 1–96 samples per run with flexible volumes from 10 µL to 10 mL, the Chemagic 360 supports multiple extraction head sizes (12, 24, and 96) and integrates with standard 96-well plates. Its benchtop design includes a built-in control computer, touch screen interface, barcode reader, and automated reagent dispensing, reducing hands-on time and ensuring consistent, reproducible results.
