The Hamilton Microlab STAR Liquid Handler is a versatile, automated platform designed for precise, efficient, and safe liquid handling in modern laboratories. Featuring a work deck with 54 tracks that accommodate SLAS/ANSI standard plates up to 1536 wells and most commercially available tube types, the STAR system provides maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications.
Its robotic pipetting arm travels in the X direction, supporting disposable tips or needles, with volumes ranging from 10 µL to 5,000 µL, while avoiding collisions with deck items. Configurable with optional modules such as pipetting channels, labware grippers, and iSWAP arms, the system can be tailored to meet evolving workflow needs. The integrated Heater-Shaker automates the heating and shaking of microplates, enhancing throughput and efficiency.
