The Agilent 1100 series system is integrated with an electronically activated inlet valve, which is synchronized to piston strokes and is able to eliminate vapour formation in volatile solvents. It also features a high-speed proportioning valve and a pre-configured vacuum degasser. The series is designed to be operated with a hand-held controller or computer running Clarity software, which enables smooth and efficient operation. With this high functioning and innovative system, the Agilent HPLC 1100 is remarkably easy-to-use and maintenance-free.
One of the key features, the online vacuum degasser allows reduced operating costs and ensures top-notch performance without the use of helium. Other features include built-in wavelength verification. Virtually pulse-free stable solvent flow is also ensured.
HPLC System Configurations
The modular Agilent 1100 HPLC system allows different configurations. Various combinations of modules including pumps and detectors are possible in order to address certain applications and requirements. A typical configuration includes the pump, detector, autosampler, vacuum degasser, solvent module, Clarity software, computer system, HPIB cables and manuals.
Modules include the Agilent 1100 Series Quaternary or Binary pump, and the 1100 Series Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD) or the Diode Array Detector (DAD). Both the VWD and DAD use a holmium oxide filter for automated wavelength verification and for tracking the detector’s performance characteristics. The Agilent 1100 detectors also employ a new design that allows front access for the exchange of flow cells and pre-aligned lamps.

We have made two big purchases with GMI, including multiple new instruments and used ones too. Their price is very decent, some items are even lower than that of Amazon. Their service is also top quality. When the HPLC computer goes wrong during the initial set up, they replaced the computer right away. We also get a lot of help during the set up the autoclave. They stick to their conditions of the sale, when there is something not same as the original description, they made a very large discount to our second big purchase for compensation. In all, they did their job excellently.
