The GMI Certified Pre-Owned Tissue-Tek® Prisma™ Automated Slide Stainer & Film™ Coverslipper System delivers a fully integrated, walk-away staining and coverslipping solution for high-throughput pathology laboratories. Seamlessly interfaced, the Prisma™ continuously transfers stained slides directly to the Film™ Coverslipper for immediate, reliable coverslipping—eliminating manual handling and increasing workflow efficiency. With capacity for up to 660 slides running simultaneously and a carousel that holds 120–240 slides, the system is designed to support both routine and special staining at scale.

Engineered for flexibility and cost control, the Prisma™ accommodates 31–51 reagent reservoirs in multiple volume sizes (160, 260, and 680 mL) to reduce reagent waste, along with optional heating stations for specialized protocols. Intelligent detectors monitor xylene and film levels and detect air bubbles to ensure error-free, artifact-free coverslipping. Manual basket loading remains possible during operation, allowing labs to process slides from other stainers without interruption.
