Its standout feature lies in its flexible fractionation capabilities, allowing users to set the base for fractionation either by time or volume. The Fraction Collector boasts a smart design with collection vessels arranged in a rack system that can be pre-programmed using standard racks or positioned freely within the fractionation area thanks to a new rack definition option.

In standard mode, the liquid delivery capillary remains stationary while the rack housing the collection vessels moves in an x-y coordinate system, ensuring precise collection under the capillary tip. Conversely, in prep mode, the rack holding the vessels is fixed while the liquid delivery capillary adjusts, offering versatility in collection methodologies.
