Bleeding edge technology and EASE OF USE thanks to a sophisticated on-board computer, powerful Optima eXPert software and an easy-to-use touch screen, the Optima L-XP delivers superior functionality, optimized user efficiencies, and faster turnarounds than any other ultracentrifuge Beckman has brought to market –to date!
Optima eXPert software provides unprecedented centrifugation capabilities. It assists you in developing the most efficient centrifugation methods, selecting the rotor and labware for a given application, then simulating the results before performing separations of proteins and sub-cellular particles
Optima L-XP utilizes the most advanced materials and technology to achieve the high performance needed – up to 100,000 rpm – for extending the boundaries of research. Plus, the air-cooled design of our drives delivers the most energy-efficient ultracentrifugation system ever made. And the imbalance-tolerant Optima L-XP drive safely accommodates tubes that are under- or over-filled by as much as 10%.

GMI is a great source for used and refurbished lab equipment. GMI takes a lot of pride in their work and it feels more like the security of buying new equipment rather than used. Their service people are nice and easy to work with and Jason B. is a friendly, responsive sales person.
We bought an old Beckman floor model centrifuge earlier this year and it’s been running wonderfully. When the motor drive belt broke, they had a new belt to us in a couple of days. Easy peasy

Very good used lab equipment at a reasonable price. Items arrived on time and in working condition. Would order from them again.
