Like the 1100 series the 1200 model is a workhorse for the demanding needs of any QA/QC lab for the most advanced analytical and method development applications.
The heart of any HPLC system is the pump. The 1200 quaternary pump model G1311 is designed for routine method development and high throughput gradient applications for greatest flexibility with multisolvent gradients by accessing up to 4 solvents. Accurate flow rates coupled with low pulsation = awesome
The G1314 VWD detector gives you high sensitivity information from 190 to 600 nm The dual-lamp design and the temperature control of the Agilent 1200 Series VWD ensure outstanding sensitivity….it will NOT cramp your analytical capability.
The 1200 series autosampler typical repeatability and LACK of carryover is astronomically outstanding. Superior injection precision and lowest carryover makes your runs trustworthy day in day out. The 1200 autosamplers provide for precision levels of < 0.5 % RSD over an injection volume range from 0.01 μL to 2000 μL. The unique flow-through design, combined with the external needle wash and optional multiple wash solvents, virtually eliminates carryover, even for highly adsorptive compounds.

Agilent 1200 HPLC System Configurations
The modular Agilent 1200 HPLC system allows various configurations. Different combinations of modules, including pumps and detectors, can be tailored to specific applications and requirements. A typical configuration includes the pump, detector, autosampler, vacuum degasser, solvent module, Clarity software, computer system, HPIB cables, and manuals.
Modules include the Agilent 1200 Series Quaternary or Binary pump, and the 1200 Series Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD) or the Diode Array Detector (DAD). Both the VWD and DAD use a holmium oxide filter for automated wavelength verification and tracking the detector’s performance characteristics. The Agilent 1200 detectors also feature a new design that allows front access for the exchange of flow cells and pre-aligned lamps.
