Product Description

Formalin is widely used as a disinfectant, antiseptic and a fixative for histology. Due to its high volatility, formalin has a strong, irritating odor that causes discomfort to the user.

Laboratory applications involving this noxious chemical can now be accomplished safely and economically with Esco Ascent™ Opti Formax (SPF). This ductless fume hood can remove noxious odor and has a built-in formalin dispensing unit.

Each SPF ductless fume hood comes standard with

• 1 x Base Cabinet with castor wheels
• 1 x Swan-neck Formalin Faucet
• 1 x Foot Switch
• 2 x Carboy (for Formalin)
