SW 41 Ti Rotor, Swinging Bucket, Titanium, 6 x 13.2 mL, 41,000 rpm, 288,000 x g. The SW 41 Ti, rated for 41 000 rpm, is a swinging bucket rotor designed to centrifuge up to six tubes. Used in Beckman Coulter class H, R, and S preparative ultracentrifuges, the rotor develops centrifugal forces for the separation and purification of small particles. Typical applications include separation of RNA, proteins, and subcellular particles in solution using rate zonal centrifugation. Approximate sample volume per tube is 13.2 mL or 79.2 ml per run with all six buckets topped off.
