The Leica RM2145 is a semi-motorized rotary microtome manufactured especially for paraffin specimens in routine and research applications. Histologists and laboratory technicians can benefit from this versatile and easy-to-use microtome and its ergonomic design.

The Leica RM2145 microtome is equipped with an automated coarse specimen advance feature, which is available in three trimming increments and can also be performed manually. The system also features a newly designed ‘step motor operated micrometer feed system’ to ensure precise advance by the selected section thickness. This precision feed guarantees consistent section thickness and highly reproducible section quality.
