While the STME Autoclave is a constant-temperature model, the Market Forge STME-L Autoclave is a variable-temperature model that allows settings from 110 to 121 deg C (230 to 250 deg F), and preheat quickly to reach sterilizing temperature within 8 to 10 minutes from cold start and 3-7 minutes in continued use. The set temperature is automatically maintained by releasing pressure and shutting off power supply at the end of cycle.
