Description

The Leica 2025 BIOCUT is a rotary, manual microtome system for routine sectioning and trimming of paraffin-embedded systems for most routine histology, biological and industrial applications. Featuring high precision and stability, the 2025 BIOCUT microtome ensures exact reproducible section quality in wax and plastic embedded sections.

The 2025 BIOCUT offers low maintenance and a backlash-free micrometer feed system that has pre-lubricated cross roller bearings for consistent, accurate sectioning. Fitted with an enclosed housing and covered horizontal cylinder opening, the Leica 2025 BIOCUT microtome becomes a truly stable microtome system.

The stability of the vertical guide way, the rigidity of the feed-system, and the built-in specimen retraction feature make the 2025 BIOCUT an ideal microtome. Other features of the BIOCUT 2025 include: a digital section counter, 60 mm vertical stroke length, and section thickness adjustable between 0.5 and 60 microns.
