The Bayer Clinitek 50 is a urine chemistry analyzer designed to meet clinical urine tests for health care centers, physician offices, and small laboratories. With a throughput of 50 samples per hour and processing time within five minutes, the Clinitek 50 saves time and increases productivity. The system also offers low-cost, versatile and reliable operation as it determines urine color, and distinguishes between intact red blood cells and hemolyzed occult blood.
Compact, lightweight and portable, the Bayer Clinitek 50 urine chemistry analyzer only weighs 3 lbs. and measures 9.2" D x 6.0" W x 6.1" H. It also provides a 50-result memory for transfer to a computer, and operates on line power with optional battery pack for alternate site operation.
The Bayer analyzer uses Multistix 10 SG Reagent Strips for performing traditional urinalysis. Bayer Clinitek 50 analyzers are also capable of performing Multistix PRO and Clinitek micro albumin/creatinine analyses. It is also possible to achieve results in formats of your choice with the time and date stamped.
