Beckman Coulter Multisizer 3 Particle Counter
Beckman Coulter Multisizer 3 Particle Counter
| Product Description |
Dubbed as the Cadillac of particle counters, the Beckman Coulter Multisizer™ 3 Coulter Counter is a versatile and well-crafted particle size analyzer. This model is ideal for biological and industrial applications as well as other laboratory procedures including quality control and research. Available for a multitude of size range materials, this Beckman Coulter counter conveniently provides size and volume distributions in various measurement units including number, volume, surface area and mass with an overall range of 0.4um-1200um.
The Beckman Coulter Multisizer™ 3 Particle Counter makes use of the Coulter Principle to measure particle volume, a direct measurement of a particle’s physical property. This principle, also known as the Electrical Sensing Zone Method, is the accepted standard for particle size analysis throughout the world. The Multisizer™ 3 Coulter Counter Analyzer provides the number, mass, volume, and surface area size distributions in one measurement with a 0.4 µm to 1,200µm sizing range.
Together with the Coulter Principle, the Beckman Coulter counter is equipped with a Digital Pulse Processor (DPP) for enhanced resolution and accuracy. High-speed digitalization of signal allows the use pulse area analysis and other techniques to increase particle characterization. Resulting measurement data from the Multisizer™ Coulter Counter are then analyzed and formatted in numerous ways. Outputs can also be stored and re-analyzed for a later time without the need to reprocess samples. This particle counting tool is capable of performing automatic corrections for coincidence.
