GMI has gone lean with Kaizen, Kaizen is Japanese practices that focus upon continuous improvement in manufacturing activities, business activities in general. Our operations manager Anothony Buettner lead the project with help from students and St Thomas University.
Our GMI service team, along with the student volunteers came in on a Saturday to re-organize our in house service area. Kaizen works around the idea, "a place for everything, and everything in its place. This push really will really help GMI optimize efficiency in operations for GMI and benefit in our customers going forward
