Siemens 238 Blood Gas Analyzer System
Siemens 238 Blood Gas Analyzer System
| Product Description |
The Siemens Bayer 238 Blood Gas Analyzer System is used to determine pH-partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) and partial pressure of oxygen (pO2) in heparinized whole blood samples. This model accurately calculates standard and actual bicarbonate (HCO3), total carbon dioxide (tCO2), base excess in vivo or in vitro (BEvv or BEvt) and oxygen saturation (O2 sat).
Other features of the Siemens 238 Blood Gas System include displaying results up to two minutes after returning the probe. This model also has an automatic calibration programmable sequence.
The Bayer 238 offers other features including last-result recall, standby mode, minimal maintenance requirement and a self-diagnostic test sequence that ensures reliability of results.
