The SRI ASTM 6584 BioDeisel GC System is ideal for both the laboratory or as a portable system for use on the field. The BioDiesel System can include the 8160C or 310GC chasis with an FID Detector one-column injector 15meter wide-bore capillary column and PeakSimple Data System. The system itself is small enough to fly as airline baggage and is perfect for testing BioDiesel an suprisingly low cost.
The SRI BioDiesel GC System is configured to perform ASTM 6584 ( residual free and bound Glycerin in BioFuel ). Analysis takes about 25 minutes and is simple enough for an untrained operator to perform in the lab or in the field. The included PeakSimple Data System displays the calibrated results directly without off-line calculations. This gas chromatograph satisfies all of the requirements of ASTM 6584 for a fraction of the cost of competitive instruments.
