Are you simply drying down DNA / RNA samples in small volumes of water and ethanol /methanol from 0.4ml to 1.5ml?  Then this unit may be the perfect choice economically speaking !  This unit has automatic pump and rotor control. Choice of three drying rates to optimize evaporation. Built in oil-free pump and integrated design miniature design takes up only 1 foot of bench space.  Extremely quiet operation.  This instrument is capable of using either the 24 place or 36 place microcentrifuge tube rotor. Larger capacity rotor available for 0.5ml tubes.  Believe it or not there is even a microplate rotor for the DNA 110!
