The DV4 stereo microscope from Zeiss is easy to use and convenient to transport from one location to another. Featuring a newly designed zoom system by Zeiss, images are crisp with outstanding resolution throughout the zoom range. The DV4 comes standard with a 4:1 zoom range yielding an 8X to 32X total magnification. With the addition of supplemental lenses, magnifications from 2.4X to 64X can be obtained. Note: when using the 0.3x supplemental lens the DV4 cannot be used on its regular stand and must be used in a boom stand configuration. Configuring a boom stand system is easily done by placing the DV4 stereo microscope head in the thru hole mount. Three-way illumination is controlled by a single button and intensity levels can be continuously changed via another touch pad button located on the base. A dark field illumination accessory is available. Measurements can be made with the addition of the magnification specific reticle that is designed to be used at 8X and 32X respectively. Imaging to a C-Mount CCD camera or SLR camera is possible with the specific eyepiece adapter listed below. From research to industrial inspection, the DV4 will meet your requirements at a very economical price.
