The Hitachi 717
Analyzer is a fully automated, discrete, computerized chemistry
analyzer, intended for in vitro quantitative and qualitative
determinations of a wide range of analytes. In addition the
instrument is capable of performing potentiometric and photometric
assays. The Hitachi 717 can be used for the analysis of
routine/general chemistries, special chemistries and Drugs of Abuse.
Additional features include ready to operate 24 hours per day, 600
tests/hr. throughput (photometric), 750 tests/hr. throughput with
ISEs (K+, Cl-, Na+), 35 on-line tests, refrigerated storage for 64
reagent containers, sample capacity of 60 samples per tray (with
multi-tray programming), positive sample ID, non-linear
data-reduction, in-process quality control analysis and packaging of
over 80 test menus.
