The
Beckman Array 360 Analyzer
The Beckman Array 360
Analyzer s a diagnostic analyzer for in vitro quantitation of components in biological fluids by
rate nephelometry and nephelometric inhibition through measurement of light scatter
resulting from an immunoprecipitin reaction.
Individual tests,
panels, or batch determinations are automatically performed for up to 40 samples with up
to 20 analytes per sample. Samples are automatically diluted and delivered
to reaction flow cells along with other reactants. The nephelometer derives the
final result in concentration units. All tests requested for each sample are
completed, including out of range and antigen excess checks, before printing the next
sample.
This analyzer is composed of three modules: the analyzer, CRT
display, keyboard and printer. The analyzer contains the nephelometric optics, fluid
transport system, a twenty position reagent wheel, and forty position sample wheel, card
reader, and an electronics compartment.
Excellent calibration stability from manufacturer supplied reagents
of 14 days for each protein chemistry and 7 days for each drug chemistry
The instrument can also perform analysis for user prepared reagents
and such user prepared assays can be stored in the computer memory.
