The Packard Tri-Carb is a dependable liquid scintillation analyzer for laboratories. This computer controlled benchtop equipment can detect small amounts of alpha, beta and gamma radioactivity. Reliable results are produced by this analyzer even for quenched samples.
Various features are fitted in Tri-Carb Liquid Scintillation Counters for utmost productivity. A built-in electrostatic controller minimizes the effects of static electricity. The automatic data reduction feature includes averaging of repeat sample counts, percent Coefficient of Variation (CV), low count rejection, and result normalization.
User-defined equations can also be programmed into the Packard system. Outputs can be formatted for standard spreadsheet-type calculations depending on user preference. Other features of the Packard Tri-Carb are luminescence detection, half-life correction and background subtraction.
The Packard Tri-Carb liquid scintillation counter system includes a monitor, keyboard, and printer. A certified GMI engineer will be available upon arrival of the benchtop equipment for set-up guidance and basic operator training.
