The Mecasys Optizen Alpha Hybrid UV/Vis Smart Spectrophotometer is a high performance spectrophotometer systems runs the Android Operating system via a wireless tablet. The unit can therefore be operated without direct proximity to the instrument.

The Mecasys Optizen alpha features the highest resolution display in its range. The 1360 x 768 high resolution display makes operation easier than working on a PC let alone punching the data directly into the physical instrument. The tablet unit itself measures 10.1" diagonally. Not only is the tablet touch screen, it also recognizes multi-touch gestures.

The Optizen Alpha Hybrid runs on the Android operating system. Utilizing feature like e-mail exports of results, PDF and Excel supportable files and user account management make operation easy and convenient. You can also stay up to date with the latest updates on this technology thanks to online updates and ensure uninterrupted operation with built in self-diagnostic tools.


Connecting your Optizen Alpha Hybrid Diode Array Spectrophotometer to a network, computers and wireless devices is also super easy too thanks to wi-fi, blue tooth and USB2 connectivity options.

The Optizen Alpha Hybrid UV/VIS spectrophotometer features an intuitive graphic interface with voice guidance much like the Mecasys Optizen Pop unit. The Optizen Alpha UV-VIS spectrophotometer however, is one of the smallest sized spectrophotometers amongst equivalent models!

The double beam optic system + CCD Array allows you to read a blank and a sample measurement at the same time to ensure correct time error measurements. A temperature sensor in cell compartment allows you to confirm the temperature of a sample at the analytical progressing moment.
