The new and revolutionary LabLogic 300SL liquid scintillation counter with TDCR Technology employs Triple to Double Coincidence Ratio (TDCR) counting. This absolute activity measuring technology relies on the use of three highly sensitive PMT's and enables easy determination of sample counting efficiency, providing instant DPM results without the need for any internal or external standards.
The LabLogic 300SL Liquid Scintillation counter uses sample trays holding either standard 20 mL LSC vials or mini-vials (7mL). The trays can be used in sample preparation instruments such as liquid handling stations or cell harvesters.
The 300SL counter is completely controlled from an external PC with an easy-to-use, yet sophisticated software program.
Even though this compact 300SL system from LabLogic has a 360° 70mm Lead encased counting chamber it weighs less than 130kg, and has a footprint of only 52cm x 63cm so it can easily be placed on benchtops and moved as necessary.
The LabLogic 300SL Liquid Scintillation counter is a revolutionary scintillation counter with a brand new design incorporating the most advanced technology in liquid scintillation counting, triple-to-double coincidence ratio counting (TDCR). This system and technology is truly ideal for both advanced research and environmental work. In addition, the compact design enables the instrument to be set-up almost anywhere in the lab, including a regular lab bench. The system weighs less than 300lbs. allowing it to be transported to different locations as needed.
Unlike other scintillation counters, the LabLogic 300SL uses an external PC, enabling several users to transfer their method and data files to other offline or networked PCs, as well as changing the PC whenever necessary. The MikroWin software has an easy-to-use graphical interface and advanced data reduction capabilities, which comes standard with the LabLogic 300SL Liquid Scintillation Counter. The software has an unlimited number of pre-stored protocols, easy export to Excel™ or other programs and has options for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for secure handling of methods and data.
The 300SL counter uses a unique sample tray consisting of 96 mini LSC vials (7 ml) or 40 standard LSC vials (20 ml) in a matrix format. The trays can be used in other devices such as liquid handling stations and samples can be loaded while the instrument is counting. The counter uses a pneumatic arm and electrostatic controller which loads the vials into a shielded sample compartment.
The 300SL LS Counter uses a unique three photomultiplier detector design aligned at 120 degrees from each other, enabling triple-to-double coincidence ratio (TDCR) counting. The TDCR method allows easy determination of sample counting efficiency without the use of any internal or external standards. In addition, the LabLogic 300SL can be used in triple coincidence mode only, which removes interference of phosphorescence and no adaptation to darkness is necessary. The counter can also be operated in double coincidence mode using conventional standards and quench correction methods. Internal and external standards are available as options.
