20 Hz Data Collection for Fast Chromatography

The standard detector gives 20 Hz resolution to allow peaks of .2sec to be accurately measured. The system can be ordered with a high speed 80 Hz diode array or fluorescence detector. Compare this to the competition and you will find the Lab Alliance UHP HPLC System solution better

High Speed Autosampler for Fast Analysis

The UHP Autosampler gives injections as quick as 15 seconds and allows for full loop, partial loop and a _l pickup mode for valuable samples.

Lab Alliance raised the pressure bar for ultra high pressure HPLC (UHPLC) from 3000 psi to 18000 psi with the introduction of a new modular chromatograph.

This brand new system costs approximately 20% less than any other system on the market AND offers equal or better performance. Such performance is WITHOUT precedence in the market. The performance and savings in time and money spent on solvent is without parallel. Gradient elution is provided by two pumps and a high pressure mixer. Lab Alliance is legendary for pump engineering -provable performance equivalent or superior to any pump on the HPLC market- and straightforward design. Their pumps probably have a serviceable life of several decades !

These pumps can deliver mobile phase at 0.001 to 5mL per min at 18,000 psi ! A market first !

  • UV, Diode Array, Fluorescence Agilent Detectors
  • Full digital control and data acquisition
  • Standard and micro volume flow cells
  • 20-80 Hz data acquisition rate for fast chromatography

One of the most interesting design challenges was to reduce the pressure 'ripple' and maintain the flow rate. For some solvents, especially organics, the compressibility is so high that about half of the displacement stroke is used up in compression! LabAlliance solves the hurdle with active control algorithms to balance this requirement. Pressure recordings show that pressure ripple at 15,794 psi is about 10 psi. The spec is less than 1.5% or about 220 psi. Astounding ! Flow rate accuracy at 10,000 psi is within 1 % and precision is better than +/- 0.5%

At LabAlliance....mission accomplished !
