The Hewlett Packard 3396 series II integrator is a piece of equipment which processes an analog (voltage) signal from a detector connected to a gas chromatograph, HPLC or other analytical equipment. The HP 3396 integrator offers comprehensive automation capability, improved plot quality, and modern applications software. Integrator plots the signal sent by the detector into a visual printout (chromatogram). It also quantifies a sample by determining the area under a peak by comparing it to a reference peak (standard). This piece of equipment is advised for those requiring greater laboratory productivity, HP instrumental control BASIC programming capabilities or an accesory disk drive.
