At 16,060g sedimentation is completed in just a little over 6 minutes. At any rate, a run time of 10 minutes is sufficient. The rotor comes to a braked standstill. Each capillary is secured within its own chamber and supported by a holding tray. This holding tray serves to contain glass shards and any leakage should a tube break. It is easy to clean and disposable in the case of glass breakage. Capillaries, to be used for quantitative buffy coat analysis are centrifuge in the 20-place rotor prior to further analysis.
Quick and Easy Hematocrit Determination
The lid of the hematocrit rotor (2076) is cover and evaluation disc in one.
The second rotor model 2056 accommodates capillaries for quantitative buffy coat analysis.
Practical and user-friendly: Lightly pressing down the lid for closing and touching a key for opening is all it takes.
2076 Hematocrit rotor for 24 standard capillaries, max. RCF 16,060
2056 Rotor for 20 capillaries for quantitative buffy coat analysis, max. RCF 16,060
