GC - Gas Chromatography System
HP Agilent 6890 GC Gas Chromatograph
(WS-HP6890NGC)
The HP 6890 is an Agilent Gas Chromatograph designed to replace the HP5890 which is an older model. This newer GC system delivers high levels of performance and features an electronic pneumatics control of all flows and gas pressures. HP 6890 has on-board sensors that automatically compensate for ambient temperature changes and barometric pressure differences to routinely achieve and produce more accurate and reproducible results. This EPC (Electronic Pneumatics Control) improves the laboratory productivity and reduces recalibration frequency. Each EPC unit is optimized for its intended use.
The Agilent 6890 is considered as one of the best (GC) gas chromatograph systems today producing excellent performance for many applications. Overall thermal performance provides optimal chromatography including retention time repeatability, peak symmetry, and retention index accuracy, while allowing for fast GC results. The accurate temperature together with its precise pneumatic control leads to outstanding retention time repeatability, the basis for all chromatographic measurement.
Some of the Agilent HP 6890 GC key applications include the following:
• Research Laboratories
• Hydrocarbon Processing
• Food Safety
• Pesticide Determination
• Chemical Analysis
• Biodiesel
• Drug Screening
• Toxicology
• Law Enforcement
• Environmental
The 6890N GC is built on the legacy of the most popular selling GC of all time-the HP 5890 and 5890 series II. GMI is able to provide GC systems and GC-MSD (mass spectrometer) systems to meet your research and analytical and chemical analysis requirements. We stock Agilent / Hewlett Packard GC main units and can supply detectors (FID, NPD, ECD, and MSD), injection ports, autosamplers, and data handling solutions depending upon your
analytical requirements and budget.
