The Agilent 1100 system is designed to be operated with a hand-held controller or a computer running ChemStation software. The Agilent 1100 series is a modern components stackable HPLC system . The system can be purchased with a computer with the ChemStation software or as a stand alone system. Single components of this Agilent 1100 are also available from GMI. You can also use re-certified computer with this system if you are working on a budget.

This Agilent 1100 HPLC can be combined with another system to make up a variety of systems for various applications. A comprehensive selection of modules allow for compatibility with other HPLC systems currently on the market.

One of the key features of Agilent 1100 is the online vacuum degasser. This allows reduced operating costs and ensure high instrument performance without the need for helium.

The Agilent 1100 has built-in wavelength verification. You may choose from the programmable variable wavelength verification as means for tracking the detector’s performance characteristics. The system is optimized for improved sensitivity and allows for easy front access to exchange of pre-aligned flow cells and lamps.

The Agilent 1100 HPLC series is the current model and arguably one the best designed HPLC systems in the industry. Characterized by the optimized design of the quaternary pump, this configuration in conjunction with its dual floating pistons (in series) and precision servo-controlled operation; ensures virtually pulse-free stable solvent flow.

The variable stroke volume of the Agilent 1100 HPLC System efficiency mixing and also produces pulse-free solvent delivery. An inlet-valve is electronically activated and synchronized to piston strokes. This eliminates vapor formation in volatile solvents and ensure that the Agilent 1100 Series is effectively a maintenance free system! You can add spectral acquisition to your HPLC analyses with the Agilent 1100 Series diode array detector. Verify separation quality with peak purity, multiple signals and spectral libraries - interactively or automatically in the same run as your analytical quantification. Extended wavelength range from 190 to 950 nm with highest sensitivity or spectral resolution with programmable slit. And holmium oxide wavelength verification for GLP compliance. The temperature management system ensures optimum baseline stability-even under rough ambient conditions.

Two lamps in the HP/ Agilent 1100 Series diode-array detector ensure the highest light output from 190 to 950 nm, for the lowest detection limits over the entire wavelength range. The use of 1,024 diodes and an optical slit programmable from 1 to 16 nm ensures the best possible spectral bandwidth.

Both the VWD and diode array detectors use a holmium oxide filter for automated wavelength verification and for tracking the detector's performance characteristics. They also employ a new design that allows front access for the exchange of flow cells and pre-aligned lamps.
