The OPTI-SOLV Solvent Reservoir Filter is
the finest filter available for mobile phase filtering. The unique
design requires no assembly or fittings for installation, and
remains at the bottom of the solvent bottle while allowing
unrestricted solvent access.
With OPTI-SOLV, you won't have to force your inlet tubing over a
stem or use a fitting to connect it - simply insert the tubing into
the TeflonŪ housing until it bottoms out. Of course, you
won't even have to do that for a while, because each OPTI-SOLV
filter comes complete with PTFE tubing for connection to your pump.

OPTI-SOLV Solvent reservoir filters help
avoid the problem of trapped bubbles. A unique conical internal
flowpath assures that all air is readily purged from the filter and
housing. OPTI-SOLV Solvent Reservoir Filters are made using PTFE and
titanium, and are sold individually and in five-packs.

Optimize Solvent Reservoir
Filters with tube stem are made of Hastelloy CŪ for maximum corrosion
resistance and inertness. The filter with a 1/8" stem is an improved version
of the Waters filter, and is directly interchangeable.
The filter with a 1/16"
stem may be used for most other HPLC systems. For extended flow systems
where flow rates exceed 10 mL/minutes, a 10 micron filer is required. For
most analytical applications, the 2 micron filter is preferable.
