Vortex 21K High Speed Centrifuge
GMI now carries brand new floor model
centrifuges by FIBERLite !
|
The
NEW
Vortex
21K is the only centrifuge that you will need in
your laboratory. This refrigerated floor model
centrifuge features a top speed of 21,000 RPM
and a maximum capacity of 6 Liters in a fixed
angle rotor and a swinging bucket rotor. It is
virtually two centrifuges in one and is one of
the most versatile centrifuges available for
sample preparation applications in the
laboratory. The Vortex 21K is designed to get
the maximum performance from a wide range of
FIBERLite carbon fiber composite rotors. The
Vortex 21K is easy and simple to operate.
FIBERLite has designed the user interface of the
Vortex 21K with a clear and easy to use touch
panel with a clear digital display. Choose from
only two acceleration and deceleration profiles
for sample separation. The first profile
accelerates the rotor from 0 rpm to 500 rpm,
then rapid acceleration to maximum rpm which
protects mixing of samples during floatation and
density gradient studies. At the end of the run,
the same profile allows the separated sample to
be decelerated rapidly from maximum rpm to 800
rpm and then coast slowly to rest automatically.
The second profile can be set to rapidly
accelerate the rotor to and from maximum rpm for
rapid collection of sediments from solutions. |
