The Hemavet 950 from Drew Scientific is the fast new veterinary multi-species Hematology system, which can provide total quality results right in your office! The Hematology unit comes with an array of features designed to accomidate your multipurpose veterinary hematology needs. Theses features include accomidation for 20 parameters, including platelets with up to 26 samples processed pre hour!

Accepted Parameters include:

WBC, NE#, NE%, LY#, LY%, MO#, MO%, EO#, EO%, BA#, BA% RBC, Hb, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW plus additional flagging for NRBC#, NRBC%, Platelet Count, MPV 3D cytograms : WBC subpopulations, RBCs, PLTs; Please note however, parameters and abnormal flagging not available with all Species

Species

The Hemavet 950 has six dedicated pre-programmed species keys and available species include:

Bison, Calfnote, Camel, Cat, Cow, Deer², Dog, Elephant, Elk, Ferret, Foal, Goat, Guinea Pig, Horse, Llama, Monkey, Pig, Rabbit, Sheep. Additional species can be run on 'OTHER' key.

Reagent Kit :
Reagent Kit optimized for the Hemavet 950. This kit yields approximately 135 billable tests per reagent kit when running 15 samples per day.

Controls :
Dog, Cat, Mouse and Horse Controls are available.

Calibration :
Drew Scientific recommends running a control each day. The calibration should be reviewed every six months. Adjust as necessary. Review after replacing worn or damaged components.
