The Bayer Clinitek 500 is a high-performance urine chemistry analyzer designed to meet the demands of high volume facilities like large laboratories and hospitals. Its flexible reporting options include visual display, printout and upload to laboratory information system. This Bayer analyzer uses MULTISTIX 10 SG Reagent Strips for leukocytes, glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, nitrite, pH, protein, and urobilinogen among others for urine color and clarity determination via handheld barcode reader.
The ultra reliable Clinitek 500 urine chemistry analyzer tests for multiple chemistries and measures specific gravity in .005 increments from 1.030. The analyzer even provides automatic non-hemolyzed trace blood detection, and utilizes reflectance photometry on every sample.
For streamlined operations, the Clinitek 500 is a non-pacing system that improves efficiency and offers automatic calibration to enhance accuracy. The Clinitek 500 system is equipped with a touch-sensitive large display and a memory that stores up to 500 patient results available for retrieval.
