A unique sliding microtome with automatic fine/trim- feed system, specimen retraction during return travel. Maintenance-free precision cross roller bearings. For sectioning paraffin, frozen specimens and specialty applications in biological, botany, and materials science. Specimen sizes up to 155 x 90 mm can be accommodated. Performance, ergonomy and design of this sliding microtome with stepping motor far exceed today’s standards. The extraordinary smooth knife carrier movement guarantees fast, comfortable and non-tiring operation. Intelligent and modern electronic control systems coupled with high-precision mechanics result in optimal section quality and reproducibility of even difficult-to-cut embedded specimens. Section thickness feed: from 0 to 10 mm in 1 mm-increment. Up to 20 mm in 2 mm-increments. Up to 60 mm in 10 mm-increments

Compensation for heat extension via stepping motor; 2 mm

Specimen orientation via coaxial one-hand adjustment
