Extraordinarily high stability and precision as well as outstanding ergonomic characteristics. The integrated, large section waste tray is an exclusive design feature of MICROM. Moreover, the model HM 325 offers specimen retraction during return travel, quick trim feature at 10 and 30 microns and a section counter. With these microtome, MICROM sets new standards concerning quality, with an optimum of operator comfort and convincing price/performance ratio.

HM 325-setting new standards in its class, offering specimen retraction in return stroke, automatic trimming steps for defined trimming, section counter. Great basic stability and precision, make this microtome a real multi-purpose instrument that meets the requirements both in paraffin and hard sectioning techniques of the biological, medical and industrial lab.

Vertical specimen movement on backlash and maintenance-free cross roller bearings.

Section thickness feed 0.5 to 60 µm; up to 2 µm in 0.5 µm increments, up to 10 µm in 1 µm increments, up to 20 µm in 2 µm increments, up to 60 µm in 5 µm increments.

Specimen retraction in return stroke.

Max. horizontal feed range 28 mm.

Vertical stroke 64 mm.

Manual coarse feed either on left side or in front.

Automatic trimming modes.

Integrated hand wheel that locks in any position.

Section counter with LC-indication.
