Tissue Tek II model 4553 cryostats are self-contained combination cryostat / microtome used for the preparation, freezing and cutting of frozen tissue sections. It consists of cryostat, an automatic defrost refrigeration chamber, and microtome, a specifically designed machine for cryotechnique .
