ISE IL 943 Flame
Photometer
Features
The IL943 Flame
Photometer is an automatic instrument for the determination of
sodium, potassium, and lithium concentration in serum, plasma, and
aqueous solutions. Sampling, calibration,
zeroing, aspiration, dilution, analysis, printing and waste disposal
are automatic - controlled by an on-board microcomputer. Other
computer-controlled functions include data, fuel and air monitoring,
operator guidance and instrument diagnostics.
Cesium standard measures Na, K and Li with no need for changeover
and provides faster analyses with less salt build-up. Throughputs of
up to 100 samples per hour are readily attained, STATs are fast and
easy. Lithium results are obtained as quickly as Na/K results.
The virtually trouble-free aspiration/flame system requires minimal
maintenance. The positive-displacement piston dilution system avoids
the maintenance problems of peristaltic pumps. It allows analysis of
samples as small as 20µL
and eliminates the need for large quantities of distilled water. The
nebulizer permits stable, precise aspiration rate.
The integral thermal
strip printer lists cup number, test type and results, or in STAT
mode, lists the sequence number. The IL 943 may be ordered with or
without built-in printer and automatic sampling system.
