Clinitek 100 Urine Chemistry
Analyzer
A
semi-automated, single sample benchtop instrument for
low-to-moderate uine testing. The instrument uses reflectance
photometry to read SiemensMultistix 10 SG Reagent Strips to perform
the following chemistries: bilirubin,
blood,
glucose, ketone, leukocytes, nitrite, pH, protien,
specific gravity, and urobilinogen. In addition, the Clinitek 100
will read new assays, such as hCG and microalbumin/creatinine. Test
reults are displayed by an 8-line, 40-character LCD screen and
recorded by an internal thermal printer. The system is user-friendly
with visual operator prompts. All programming for the instrument is
contained in a replacable Program Card. Up to 1000 sets of test
results are stored in the none volatile memory. The system has
options for bidirectional communication with a host computer and a
form printer, as well as most 80-column parallel printers.
