FiberLite F10 6x500 Fixed
Angle Carbon Fiber Rotor
Features
and Benefits:
Carbon fiber rotors are 40 - 60 % lighter than metallic rotors. They
are compatible with all centrifuges in the market. Because of their
non-corroding properties and unique configurations costly centrifuge
repairs are reduced in case of a rotor mishap. Carbon Fiber rotors
do not fatigue (no stretching) during centrifugation, therefore
there is no need to log the number of runs or cycles of the rotor in
order to keep the rotor warranty conditions in force. As a matter of
fact, FIBERLite rotors have a LIFETIME WARRANTY. A final
feature of carbon fiber rotors is their greatly improved safety for
the operator and laboratory personnel because of their ease in
handling.
Applications:
This rotor is designed for large volume processing of tissue
homogenates and other large particles also clarifying lysates and
pelleting particles from other types of homogenates, bacterial cells
and debris from water pollution studies. Differential centrifugation
to sediment small volumes of mammalian cells
Collection of
serum or plasma from whole blood for clinical chemistry
Collection of
other physiological fluids for clinical diagnostic tests
Harvesting of
sub cellular organelles from tissue homogenates
Collection of
DNA and RNA from ethanol precipitates
