Beckman LS 6000 Scintillation Counter
| Product Description |
The Beckman LS 6000 Liquid Scintillation Counter is a high-performing system that offers flexibility of use. This model can freely function without an external computer.
LS 6000 units are equipped with a 32,768 channel multichannel analyzer, delivering a resolution eight times more effective than the standard. Conventional liquid scintillation counters only produce 0.5 keV per channel as opposed to the 0.06 keV per channel from this model. This feature sets the basis for Defects Per Million (DPM) results without quench curves, a precise quench monitor, superior results for multi-label studies and automatic color detection and correction.
Program selection for this Beckman liquid scintillation counter which includes single racks, single photon counting and dual label studies are accomplished through the use of command cards. Entering user programs into the Beckman LS 6000 counter involves isotope selection. This choice sets the spectrometer windows instead of the actual window energies. Opt for the default 3H configuration when tritium in channel 1 is desired. This Beckman liquid scintillation counter also comes equipped with manual window setting.
