The Beckman J2-HC system combines high speed and high capacity with conventional high speed rotors at speeds up to 18,000 rpm producing 47,900xg. It runs the largest swinging bucket rotor.

Beckman J2-HC Centrifuge Features

• Modular Adapters are color-coded and accommodate virtually every tube size - from 1.5 mL to 100 mL, with diameter ranging from 10-mm to 44-mm.
• Bottle Sleeves support a variety of bottles from 230 mL to 750 mL with round, flat or conical bottoms.
• Microplate Carriers are interchangeable with the buckets of JS-4.3, letting you spin four six-well tissue culture plates or up to eight double stacked 96-well plates per run.
• For RIA Applications you can spin up to 148 samples in a single run. Another RIA time saver is a decanting device - available for both 10-mm and 12-mm diameter tubes - that lets you decant an adapter full of tubes at once instead of one tube at a time

Beckman J2-HC Centrifuge Design Innovations for Added Laboratory Safety

• Sophisticated detection system provides automatic shutdown should overtemperature condition exist.
• In the event of rotor imbalance, the system automatically shuts down to protect sample, instrument, and operator.
• An electronic door interlock ensures that the chamber door is securely locked before a run can begin, and remains locked during the course of the run.
• All-steel chamber surrounded by steel barrier ring and steel plate in the chamber door provides three levels of physical containment.
