| Product Description |
The Beckman Coulter Z1 Dual Cell and Particle Counter offers simple and direct operation, allowing users ease of use. Having a dedicated START button, this device can complete a count and produce accurate results within seconds. Straight-forward messages are also displayed on the LCD screen to direct users in configuring set-up and analyses functions. Instrument calibration only requires a few steps to prompt automatic computation and arrangement of optimum instrument settings.
The Z1 is fitted with distinct features that heighten productivity, including the ability to eliminate calibration drift. This common calibration problem of other instruments is caused by changes in electrolyte conductivity and temperature. These particle counters can produce pressure measurements with a high degree of accuracy and precision without the use traditional mercury manometers. A unique oil displacement pump is used instead to obtain effective results.
Beckman Z1 counters compute for cells and particles in three regions which are equal to or above the lower size selected by the operator, above the upper size setting and between these two sizes. This counter is excellent for determining a cell number between selected size ranges.
