The Abbott Cell Dyn 1600 CS is an automated cell counter with many capabilities. Multiple automatic programs eliminate most time consuming procedures associated with cell counting. The Abbott Cell Dyn 1600 CS accepts samples from open tubes AND closed tubes, unlike the Cell Dyn 1600.             

It will run the following parameters: WBC, MCHC, LYM%, LYM# , RBC, PLT, HCT, HGB, RDW, MCH, MID% , MID# , MPV, MCV, GRAN percentage, GRAN number, as well as histograms for WBC, RBC, and PLT.

The Abbot Cell Dyn 1600 CS streamlines many of the tedious procedures associated with cell counting. This instrument has a throughput of 60 samples per hour.

Features of this system include; advanced data management and measurement capabilities, volumetric metering, automatic probe wipe and rinse, electronic resistance, automatic start-up and shutdown, automatic cleaning modes, various data output options, and automatic multi-point calibration.
